The SG60 Diamond Collection

Some stories are not told in words, but in the objects we choose to keep—a delicate brushstroke, a familiar form, the quiet weight of ceramic in your hands. Crafted to celebrate Singapore’s 60 years of progress, six decades of stories, and the spirit of one united nation, Luzerne presents the SG60 Diamond Collection. A homegrown brand with over 75 years of heritage, Luzerne has long been part of the Singapore story— gracing tables from leading hotels, airlines, dining establishments and homeowners around the world.

Each piece is made in Luzerne’s own facility in Dehua, China—an ancient porcelain capital with over a thousand years of ceramic tradition and UNESCO recognition. Singapore-inspired artworks by Associate Professor Ng Woon Lam bring the collection to life, showcasing his distinctive style—a blend of Eastern ink’s grace and Western watercolour’s depth, creating a visual narrative rooted in both heritage and hope. Grounded in craftsmanship and shaped by story, the SG60 Diamond Collection is more than a commemorative tribute—it is a lasting expression of national identity, designed to be shared, remembered, and cherished for generations.

Seeds of Recognition – Singapore, 2000s – 2010s

In the 2000s, Singapore focused on preserving its heritage while shaping a more sustainable future. In 2015, as the nation mourned the passing of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, his 'City in a Garden' vision bore fruit with the Singapore Botanic Gardens' UNESCO World Heritage Site status. This era saw a stronger commitment to sustainability and cultural preservation, from policy shifts to community initiatives, paving the way for a greener Singapore.
